The left; the right;
The socialist; the communist;
And then the populist;
Drain the financial system;
Break the backbone of the state;
Exploit the labour;
Corrupt the mass;
Shut down factories;
Make people unemployed;
The state heads towards an elusive haven;
Conscious we all know
Populism is pervasive;
Stuck around the entire political system;
The clear benefits;
The freebies; the quotas;
The short run charms;
Sticking stubbornly around our arm;
The long run repercussions;
The poor is restless;
The riches are clam;
Painting a rosy picture;
Banking of agony;
Across the streets;
Of people; of population;
Swindling our hard-earned money;
In the name of meeting;
Of liquor and flesh;
The greed never ends;
So does the filthy mess;
The more power you got;
The more corrupt you became;
Flout law and order;
The lofty and uncaring attitude;
The gradual pamper;
The disablement is induced;
Little by little;
The enterprise; the industry;
The perpetual loss;
Backed by subsidy;
Economy goes for a toss;
You assume it gain;
The exchequer loss;
The final price;
You have to pay;
Your demise;
You decay;
You should understand;
Everything has a price;
It must be paid;
There is no free lunch;
Even in the god’s bed.
