Child labour

Child

The nimble hands which are meant for holding books and copies;

For the same are   selling beside the road, disks and floppies;

Bewildered he wanders around;

To sale at least one piece to earn a living;

Eyes questionable, searching answers for why his fate is so written;

Countless children working across the country;

Cleaning streets, toiling at construction sites;

Laboring till the last drop of blood;

To simple gather a food bite;

Begging at streets; serving at hotels;

Washing clothes; working at tea stalls;

The pain is brutal, the list is endless;

Still for the society;

It doesn’t make any sense;

                                             Deprived of any happiness; deprived of fun;

Devoid of education; devoid of a future;

With empty stomach and tried legs;

For its time the society should do something;

For it always considers these kids nothing;

Remove the sheer apathy;

Remove the ignorance;

Let the light of kindness usher in;

Let the numbness walk way;

Let humanity makes its way;

For every child deserve better;

A better childhood;

A bright future;
