“More than 64 years after Independence we still see corruption, we still see poverty, we still see social evils like dowry and female foeticide, and we still see so many social taboos plaguing our society.
Politicians and bureaucrats are filling up their swiss bank accounts, looting money from the funds allocated for the common men or for infrastructure .
We do see schemes being introduced and being passed by the legislature but what actually happens? Do those schemes even reach the people whom they are meant for? Even in the rarest few cases that they do, they reach after significant diminishing, and those ‘rarest cases’ too would come out to be just 25% of the total.
We have corruption at every level, it is in the roots of our country now. From a police inspector to an CM, from filing an FIR to getting a railway ticket or to get into a Academic Institutions, we need to bribe someone.
Bribe someone just because we don’t want to stand in a queue and wait for our turn!! And then we are the ones who blame!!
We don’t vote and and then blame that it would not matter if we don’t vote. And then we complain as to why the politicians aren’t working to our expectations, they are corrupt and all….!!We just expect that this would get well on their own.
So now its time that we youth stand up, we stand up to make this Nation a great power, a better place to live in. We and only we will have to change it. So come, let’s join hands and bring the change we want to see.”
